Dejah Powell is an organizer & activist, photographer, writer, and documentary filmmaker from Chicago, currently living in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from Cornell University in 2018, where she studied Environmental & Sustainability Science and minored in Business and Community Food Systems. At Cornell, she took her first Black & White film photography class and fell in love with photography. She is currently in the International Center of Photography (ICP) Online Documentary Practice: Visual Storytelling Program.

She loves to photograph portraits, engagements & weddings, landscapes, everyday life, and her friends! She currently shoots on digital and 35mm film.
